Albatross History-7-1979  Penny Herring – a lovely diver.  Represented the Club on many occasions.  A stalwart of the team especially display diving.  A good all rounder at County and Southern Counties level.  She showed her skills mainly in the graceful streamlining dives which are often more difficult to maintain control.

Albatross History-7-1979 Another trip away for the Albatross divers.  Penny Herring (top pic); Paul Holton; Andrew Parsons; Caroline Knollys; Louise Taylor; Marianne Green; Diana Seward and newer member Lindsay Rowan with under 11 Juliet Green dived their way to pennants in a match between Southampton divers.  The event was held at Southampton’s Central Baths,  past pool (now gone and replaced by The Quays International Pool).  I remember self also having a dive in the adults section – first time I dived for a few years.  I still have my trophy!

Albatross History-7-1979  Louise Taylor 13 is back on the up and up and had been selected to attend training at the Centre of Excellence at Crystal Palace. What a wonderful comeback for her.
