Albatross History-8-1980 Andrew nails it in RAF Cranwell National Champs
High Flier Andrew Parsons made great news by becoming RAF Cranwell Air Corp Training National Champion. He competed against competitors from seven regions of the British Isles. He performed multi twisting and somersaulting dives with high degree of difficulty. I remember we were very proud of him…and what an Ambassador of the Club. Good diving Andrew!
Marianne surpassed herself by scoring the highest ever points in the Junior Southern Counties 1 metre springboard. She automatically qualified to dive in European Trials at Crystal Palace. Other chances for Louise her club mate, and her to dive in a friendly match against Sweden. Good performances from both girls bringing home a silver medal and a finalist placing.
Sponsorship Tee shirts well in action!
